Today is my parents’ 42nd anniversary. Senior year of high school they were voted “most likely to succeed” and they have - individually and together.

Sometimes you just need a momentum shift.
I haven’t been blogging as often as I’d like on Wordpress and while I have no proof, I have to believe it was the platform as much as it was me. (Sorry, Wordpress, but I need a scapegoat.)
I’d also like to be a bit better organized this time around and I think a fresh start will make that more achievable.
I’m hoping this is a space where I can tell you what’s on my mind at the moment. Since my mother always said I was “a victim of my own versatility,” any destination designed to capture what’s on my mind will end up being a bit of a crazy world that includes: food, drink, politics (the Right kind), serious commentary on reality television (because SOMEONE has to take it seriously), observations from the road, links I found amusing, photos I found beautiful, gchats with friends taken out of context, stories my mother claims are embarrassing to her, etc.
